The children will be accompanied by adult volunteers, primarily other families from the school, under the direction of the AFA. The participating adult guides can be volunteers: mothers, fathers, relatives, and others familiar with the route who will ensure the activity runs smoothly.
It's important for children to know how to pedal and for the bicycle they use to be in good condition, with inflated tires and adjusted brakes. If the bicycle has gears, they must be able to shift and maneuver them properly. It's also important for children to have gloves to keep their hands warm during the winter months.
The bicycle bus is an extracurricular activity under the umbrella of the AFA (Agricultural and Cultural Association) at the Albert Vives school. The AFA (Agricultural and Cultural Association) has civil liability insurance that covers damages to third parties.
